Applicant must be accompanied by three witnesses who must be over 40 years old who can attest to his identity.

Over 21-year-olds: £40 plus £20 for each year leading up to present age (Express service will be charged at £5)

Eritrean citizens who obtained their ID card in other countries or in Eritrea must bring relevant information along when they visit the Embassy. The information may include where and when they got their ID card, number of lost card etc. To ensure that applicants bring all the required information, we advise you call the consular section before your planned visit.
